ABOUT US
The Alameda Hospital Foundation was established in 1985 as an independent nonprofit corporation dedicated to raising and managing private funds in support of Alameda Hospital's mission to provide quality healthcare close to home.

Since its inception the Alameda Hospital Foundation has been dedicated to enhancing the current and future health care needs of Alameda residents, visitors and the surrounding community. Our ability to offer financial help to the hospital and serve local health care needs depends on contributions from the community. The chief goal of the Foundation is to promote the development, growth, and wellbeing of Alameda Hospital.
THE FOUNDATION AT A GLANCE
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors who establishes operating policies for the Foundation and determines fundraising priorities after consulting hospital leadership. The board is committed to fulfilling its fiduciary responsibility to ensure that gifts are used as donors designate.

YOUR DONATIONS MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Through the generosity and involvement of our community, virtually every area of Alameda Hospital has been touched by the Alameda Hospital Foundation. Each gift to the Foundation comes from a special person, a grateful patient, family member, physician, staff member, volunteer, or community friend, who generously shares what they can.
Over $5 million has been gifted to the Hospital by the Foundation since it began. From facility renovations like the Hospital lobby to a state of the art CT Scanner, the Foundation has had a positive impact on the lives of virtually everyone who has visited the Hospital.
